Photo applied to shaped background with edges made invisible. wireframe effect and see-through made possible by colouring all 'clear' areas I wanted, vivid blue in 3d Paint, saving as a .png and them taking it into POWERPOINT, where I used the picture tools to set the vivid blue to transparent, before saving the file again.. then pasting it as a texture into the sketchup model. you get the full wire frame effect, but with a face-me 2D component of 1 face. If edges show up again, select the component, go to 'style' tool, 'edit' and uncheck 'edges'. NOTE:- this component is transparent, so objects can still be seen behind.
