This building is an old self-storage warehouse located at 51st St. and Cottage Grove Ave. in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. It is currently home to Hyde Park Self Storage, Inc. This is one of the many "Fireproof" storage facilities that were built in the early 20th century in Chicago, perhaps owing in part to still-fresh memories of the great Chicago fire. The masonry above the front awning still advertises "Fireproof Ware Hovse".
