The ET23DCM, classified by CSX as the SD23T4, is a six-axle diesel electric road switcher built in CSX's Huntington heavy repair shops by Wabtec, which purchased GE Transportation in 2019, starting in 2023.
The locomotives were rebuilt from EMD SD40-2 trucks, frames, and car bodies. However, under the hood a GE 6-cylinder Tier 4 prime mover and Evolution Series internals. Giant flared radiators were also added to the rear of the locomotive for better cooling capability.
