This is a 3d build of a space station that appeared in the first season Blake's 7 episode "Breakdown." The station was located near a gravitational anomaly, and was also the site of an advanced medical facility. Blake contacted the station in an attempt to save the life of Gan who suffered seizures and berserk rage after a cybernetic implant in his brain failed. Although XK-72 was considered neutral territory and not allied with the Federation, the neural surgeon helping Gan, Dr. Kayn, became suspicious of Blake and contacted the Federation authorities. Blake uncovered the treachery and managed to escape once Gan's surgery was complete. XK-72 was later destroyed when a pursuit ship's plasma bolt fired at the Liberator missed and targeted on the station instead. #base #BBC #Blakes #classic #facility #medical #scifi #series #space #station #television
