The belfry of Ghent, in the centre of the Belgian city Ghent. It is the middle tower of the known 3 medieval towers of the old city of Ghent. Construction started in 1313 and was completed in 1380. On the top of the tower stands the dragon of Ghent. The small annex on the side dates from 1741 and is called the Mammelokker which refers to the sculpture of the legend above the front doorway.
