The Ringberg house of Suhl was built in 1977 as a recreation home of the association of the cooperative peasants help (VdGB) of the former DDR. A stay was only possible with a voucher of the association.
After the events of 1989 - the Mauerfall in Berlin - and the closing of the VdGB, the Ringberg house became a hotel, open for everybody and preferably booked by groups of south Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Belgium. Associations and small companies came for meetings and conferences at a fair price.
In the meantime the hotel was completely refurbished and renovated and is administrated now by the RHB Ringberg Hotels Association mbH. #ef #ef13 #Ringberg #Ringberg_hotel #Ringberg_resort
