The Gilneans lay for years behind their leviathanic wall, until after the Third War, and the Undead Plague.
The worgen, a race of savage, wolven beasts, created as a weapon by the Archmage Arugal, caused the Gilneans fighting along side them to suffer from the curse; transforming into Worgen.
