The home of the Oakland Athletics and the Oakland Raiders was built in 1966 to house the Raiders. Oakland was able to lure the A's from Kansas City in 1968 and the coliseum's dual role began. It was renovated in 1996 with the addition of the tall grandstand in place of the earlier bleachers. The original field was designed by SOM and the addition by HNTB. Model created by Mason Thrall.
