Living big in a small house. This DIY project was completed over a period of 6 months on a budget of $63k. The 30-foot diameter yurt has a floor area of 710 sf plus 230 sf of loft area for sleeping. A single interior room houses a bathroom while acting as a partition that divides the yurt into natural living quarters. This room is placed near the center, detached from exterior walls, allowing visitors to discover more of the space as they walked around the perimeter.
