The M/S Estonia was built in 1980 at the German shipyard Meyer Werft. The Estonia was a Roll on/Roll off ship (cruiseferry). In 1994, the ship was in route from Tallin (Estland) to Stockholm (Sweden), when sank in a storm (wind 7-8 in Beaufort scale). The bow visor's locks was broken under the strain of the waves. The location of the shipwreck is at 59°23′N, 21°42′E. The ship was called M/S Viking Sally (Viking Line, 1980), then the name of the ship was M/S Silja Star (Silja Line, 1990), then the cruiseferry was called Wasa King (Wasa Line, spring 1990) and finally, the ship was called M/S Estonia (Estline, 1993). Thanks to Google Earth Canarias, he provided the propeller.
