Castalia in The Hague is the home of the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welness and Sport. The building has a height of 104 meters and was designed by American architect Michael Graves. It is in fact built around the skeleton of a stripped 1967 building called the Transitorium. Castalia was completed in 1998 as a part of the larger De Resident are in the Hague, where a lot of ministries are located. Because of its design locals call the building 'Haagste Tieten' ('Tits of The Hague'). #1990s #castalia #de_resident #den_haag #graves #holland #michael_graves #ministerie #nederland #netherlands #sport #the_hague #volksgezondheid #vws #welzijn
