This church was designed by Bassford & Company from Minneapolis in a Gothic Revival style. Construction started in 1891, but was interuppted by the Fargo Fire of 1893. With supervision by the Hancock Brothers, the cathedral was completed in 1899. The main spire is 172 feet tall.
