The BlasTech Industries DC-15X sniper blaster rifle was a modified version of their standard DC-15A blaster rifle use by Galactic Republic clone trooper sharpshooters during the Clone Wars (21-19 BBY), and later by Galactic Empires stormtroopers. It fired narrow, high-intensity beams of blue energy that were effective against battle doids and organics alike. The blaster was equipped with a brown stock and a brown grip, an added scope, and was given extra accuracy for long-range engagements. It could fire up to six shots before having to be reloaded and variable magnification scope. Over the course of the Clone Wars, the rifle would undergo several modifications as displayed here.
