Together with the Avalon across the street, the Majestic hotel, an Art Deco inspired 1940s building, forms the Avalon-Majestic hotel. The Majestic has a tripartite façade with many decorations, though most of them aren't in relief. The central bay of the front and side façade isn't thrusting forward, but it does seem to attract more of the attention due to the ziggurat on top and the vertical fluting between the windows.
