Built in 1931 Dyer Hall is home to the University of Cincinnatis College of Education Criminal Justice and Human Services; the department of psychology and the Counseling Center. Teachers College at the University of Cincinnati houses the College of Education Criminal Justice and Human Services (CECH). CECH education students receive extensive training in the use of technology in the classroom and have a 100 percent pass rate on state licensure exams. The quality and volume of research conducted in the Division of Criminal Justice earned it a No. 1 ranking from The Journal of Criminal Justice. The CECH human services program places a special emphasis on preparing students for careers in health and athletic training.
