Currently in progress, this is a model of a DIY pottery wheel very similar to the one described in the blog linked below.
A front wheel hub is used to mount the pottery wheel to the table. A matching drive shaft spindle must be modified to accept a 12" custom made pulley. The original 1 1/8" pulley & flywheel from an old treadmill motor are used to drive the wheel.
I have yet to model the mounts required for the motor, but the sizes of the pulleys and length of the belt is accurate (46" belt, see Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006U3CJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The size of the table top may need some adjustment to match the required leg positions.
