Rickety is described as a truck who takes great pleasure in being useful, much like any other Troublesome Truck. He is unique for his "rickety" motion, hence his name. Unlike many trucks, Rickety is helpful, kind and will always carry whatever he is loaded with.
Rickety is based on a 7-plank open wagon of which many examples are preserved. S.C.Ruffey and Several Troublesome Trucks also share the same basis.
