Assiniboia Hall, built in 1912, was a male student residence until renovations were begun in the '70s. The interior of the building was completely removed, and rebuilt in 1979. It is now home to the Office of the Senate, the Office of the Chancellor, and a number of groups from the faculty of arts: the Department of Linguistics, the Department of Philosophy, the Women's Studies Program, and the Centre for Writers. #Alberta #Canada #Edmonton #main_campus #North_Campus #U_of_A #University_of_Alberta
