*Manufactured by Celanon Spaceworks combining Imperial and Nalroni technologies.
*Extremely fast sublight speed, tactically analogous to the later A-wing design.
*No hyperdrive on most models. Nalroni Navy did not have a use for long-range fighters as their position well within the Sith Empire's borders meant they only needed to be concerned with defense of their local trade route and even then they operated alongside Imperial forces.
*Powerful shielding focused primarily around the dorsal and ventral sections of the ship. Could withstand several direct hits from directly above or below. *Shielding could be angled forward or rearwards at less power.
*An array of six extremely fast-firing light starship blasters and two medium blaster cannons faced frontwards. The Blaster cannon was underslung on the belly of the starship and could be rotating 360 degrees. Long-range firepower was intended to be handled by externally mounted missiles. Medium and close-range dogfights were the Vertex's specialty.
*A single rearward facing light starship blaster with six quick-firing barrels deterred pursuers.
*Large cockpit could be configured to seat up to three people (passenger, weapons officer, and pilot) in a triangle seating pattern. Default configuration was one pilot and one weapons officer seated one behind the other.
*Extremely expensive per-fighter. Purchases were only made possible by the wealth of trade that runs through Celanon.
*38 could fit within a standard Induction-Class Hanger module.
