Use this component to model and/or calculate dimensions for stairs with a switchback. Set the maximum rise as desired (default is 7" per IBC). Landing dimensions will account for step overlap automaticaly - enter the dimension of the desired landings in plan view. "Landing position" is the factor used to set the position of the intermediate landing relative to the overall dimension of the stair rise (Ex. "0.5" will place the landing at the middle riser, rounded up if necessary). Handrail extrusion reference lines are provided, as well as a default 1-1/4" diameter pipe rail profile.
