The T28 Prototype was an experimental assault tank, designed for use on the German front. It was a modification of an early assault gun, with thick 200mm armor and a 120mm gun, rivaling the 128mm on the Jagdtiger and the 122mm on the IS-2. With it's high armor protection and powerful weaponry, it was ideal for engaging German pillboxes.
