Labeled and grouped associated elements together; Under panel are detailed. A condenser or condensing unit consists typically of a condensing coil inside which high temperature high pressure refrigerant gas flows, and over which a fan blows air to cool the refrigerant gas back to a liquid state (thus transferring heat from the refrigerant gas to the air being blown by the fan). The unit's goal is to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality. The condenser unit is basically a coil of finned tubing and a fan to blow air across the coil. HVAC system design is a subdiscipline of mechanical engineering, based on the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. A simple refrigeration cycle of a bipolar couple system includes the outside unit with the condensing coil and the compressor.
