This is the statue of Count Kuno Klebersberg, which depicts an important intellectual, the Minister of Culture of 1920’s. He established three universities and had schools built in Hungary. He made Szeged a university town in 1921. This unusual statue is the work of Miklós Melocco, which was unveiled on 21st May 2000, on the day of Szeged. #Miklós_Melocco #Statue #Szeged #Széchenyi_tér
