A curved retaining wall. Built in 2006. Structure of the wall is built out of hollow concrete blockwork reinforced with vertical steel rods; then faced with oolitic limestone coursed Cotswold dry-stone rubble. The front face of the wall ncorporates two precast concrete, square, feature blocks with moulded quatrefoil rose motifs; one precast concrete, circular, block with an 'acorns and oak leaves' medallion motif; and one square block of ashlar limestone with the house address/street number incised in it. The wall is topped with a rounded capping of 'in situ' cement. .Soft landscaping has been added in the form of a deciduous tree and a variety of perennial shrubs. All to enhance the road frontage of a private residential property. #Cam #planting
