gerrit rietveld's zig zag chair. Back at home I have a few of these, neither of wich I actually use to sit on. It was rietveld who said "zitten is een werkwoord", but that doesnt really translate well into english im afraid. They just give you hell for the time you sit down.
When I was measuring one of the zigzag chairs I allready forsaw a few diffeculties. They led to a frustrating four ours of incomprehension, but in the end the model turned out to be a good enough representative.
