--This template is outdated due to the new skin changes in 1.8. An updated model will be uploaded soon.--
This is a custom template I created (in the same scale Minecraft uses) so you can re-create Minecraft skins in SketchUp to preview your own skin or just for fun. Every part of the skin is color coded (even the areas normally not visible) and there is a seperate texture for every part of the skin. To create the actual skin, you can click the link below to view a video:

Texture Dimensions: Apply these in the size box in the 'Edit Material dialog box.
Head/Hat: 0.5m x 0.5m
Body Front & Back: 0.5m x 0.75m
Body Top & Bottom: 0.5m x 0.25m
Body Left & Right: 0.75m x 0.25m
Arm Front, Back, Left, Right: 0.75m x 0.25m
Leg Front, Back, Left, Right: 0.75m x 0.25m
Arm Top & Bottom: 0.25m x 0.25m
Leg Top & Bottom: 0.25m x 0.25m
SPECIAL NOTE: The textures of the Hat layer need to be positioned correctly in order to look normal. After applying the texture, Right click on the area then go to Texture < Position. Then adjust the red square to be aligned with one of the 4 corners of the face. Then use the green square to fit the texture to any other corner of the face. (Make sure it doesn't tilt!)
