A 2,257 sq. ft. bungalow, composed of a structural stone wall (local material) forming the backdrop for a frameless glazed Great Room looking out to the Golden Gate Bridge o none side, and three private cubes on the other, housing two bedrooms and a study. The wall founds the ply trusses that span both sides of the wall with hidden moment connections. All ply siding, trusses and millwork is designed to be bamboo. The ground source heat pump is powered in part by solar panels on the roof and ducted along the
bedroom side of the stone wall, with registers servicing both sides of the wall. The glass roof is designed to be aphoto sensitive material to shade over when exposed to direct sunlight. #designyourdwelling2008
