Rood Hall was built in 1971 dedicated to Dr. Paul Rood, Chair of the Department of Physics. It is home to classrooms and laboratories for physics, statistics, math, and geology. The building houses the Lloyd J. Schmaltz Geology Museum, the Van de Graaff Particle Accelerator laboratory, and the Art & Sciences Computer Center. The building has four floors and approx. 124,260 sq. feet. Connected to Rood is Everett Tower, built in 1971 and dedicated to John P. Everett, Head of the Math Department. This building houses the faculty offices for math, physics, and statistics. The structure has six floors and approx. 30,420 sq. feet. Model by C.
