Viad Corporate Center was constructed in 1991 as the Dial Tower for the Dial Corporation, the building was meant to represent a Dial Soap Bar. Originally, the tower was supposed to have a twin, rotated 90 degrees from the current tower but was eventualy cancelled after the economic downturn of the late 80's. Today it stands as the 5th tallest building in Arizona and has a large landscaped public park featuring many statues and fountians.
