The world's longest suspension bridge span between 1929-1931 connects USA and Canada between Detroit and Windsor. The bridge is designed by McClintic-Marshall Company and represents Art Deco and Art Moderne styles. The bridge is the busiest broder crossing between USA and Canada by trade volume. Over 25% of all goods between the two countries crosses this bridge which equals over 10,000 commercial vehicles per day. The bridge has a central span of 564 meters and has a 46 meters of clearance below. The two towers are 118 meters high and are made of steel-silicon alloy. The side spans are cantilever truss design and not suspended from main cables. The approach spans in this model are very basically modeled. #bridge #Canada #Detroit #Michigan #Ontario #suspension #USA #Windsor
