Sustainable Tiny House 3

I love the Tiny House movement (check out my previous design) and the off-grid premise, but being truly self-sufficient is very, very hard. ツ To be 100% autonomous you'd need a secure water supply, a heating system, sewage and waste removal (usually a composting toilet) and some electricity resource (mainly from solar panels); but if you want real homesteading you should also grow your own food. Instead, this small dwelling for two people is simply passive and zero-energy (with big solar panels on the roof), and harvesting some rainwater to use for showering and washing. Also, I prefer the stationary tiny houses to the mobile ones (usually built on trailer wheels), though I understand the possibility to travel freely and to go where you want. But to really optimize the living space and get the most from your small house, you should probably "think vertically" and stack the rooms on each other; in that sense I also prefer real stairs to ladders, and proper closing doors to sliding panels, which are commonly used to minimize space. This tiny house has a living area of only 31 square meters (333 square feet), not counting the stairs, but doesn't feel crowded or too narrow, and has everything you need. Placed on a minimal ground lot, easy to sustain and clean. Everything layered and fully furnished. Minimalistic interior design. As always, made by yours truly. ツ #contemporary_architecture #fully_furnished #interior_design #micro_house #small_building #small_house #small_living_space #tiny_house
