Starting in May of 2023, CSX Transportation began a program of painting General Electric ES44AH locomotives in heritage paint schemes commemorating its predecessor railroads. This locomotive, numbered CSX 1836, wears the RF&P paint scheme on the long hood. I'm not sure why the rear logo bears the year 1834, as the railroad began operation in 1836
