Aghada Power Station is a Gas fueled power station near Cork, Ireland run by power company ESB. The first units were commisioned in 1980 and it supplies 8% of Ireland's Electricity Demand. A new combined cycle unit has recently been built alongside. The chimney is 152 meters tall and is of concrete construction.
