The SS Conestoga was a United Earth Space Probe Agency (UESPA) ship built as the first Human extra-solar colony effort, for the settlement of Terra Nova, an inhabitable M class planet circling 61 Cygni A, a star 11.4 light years from Earth. Designed for dismantling on arrival to serve as homes and service buildings for the colonists, the 180 meter long ship was constructed at the ISA (International Space Agency) Low Orbital Drydock Facility and launched in 2069, with a crew of 25 and 200 colonists. At a cruising speed of Warp 1.3, it would take 9 years to reach its’ destination on June 23, 2078, however, contact with the colony would be lost in 2080, and it was not until 2151 that the Enterprise NX-01re-established contact and the tragic fate of the colony was discovered. This model depicts the SS Connestoga in the ISA Orbital Drydock as it prepares for its’ departure. Thanks to the many models who contributed to this project.
