This 3.3 litre twin turbo inline 6 is the first engine designed by Vertice's VSS division, and will be used in the V5 SS later this year. It's based around MSX's proven AP6 engine, with an alloy block, direct injection and 5 valves per cylinder, to which VSS adds twin variable geometry turbochargers and a greater use of titanium, giving maximum outputs of 324kW(434hp)@6300rpm and 490Nm(361ft lb)@2700rpm. This engine could be used in future high performance Missaves and like other IMMC and MSX/R engines is available for sale to other car manufacturers.
