Papua Shelter
Designed by Adityo Roem From: Yogyakarta, Indonesia Shelter location: Indonesia Date submitted: August 16, 2009 In Papua, some children walk more than 10 km to their school through the forest, hills, rivers, and meadows. this shelter is built as a resting place, where children can study and sleep on their way go to school. It is made from local wood (merbau) as the beam, the shelter form is an analogy of traditional architecture of Papua and the ornament from the wood bark hand crafted.
