The ET44AC is a six-axle diesel-electric locomotives produced by General Electric (GE) Transportation. Production began in 2012 and replaced the ES44AC in GE's catalog. It is capable of producing 4,400 horsepower as is standard among many of GE's other models of locomotive, and is compliant with the EPA's Tier 4 emissions standards. CSX has classified their ET44ACs as ET44AH due to it being heavily ballasted.
