Mavis is a feisty young diesel engine who works at the Ffarquhar and Anopha Centre Island Quarry. She is full of her own ideas and sometimes doesn't take kindly to advice. She had a lot to learn about trucks, and with Toby's help, she learned to be a really useful engine. Mavis is a kind, caring diesel who always like to help her friends out whenever needed.
Mavis is based on a BR Class 04 shunter. Like Toby, she has cowcatchers and sideplates similar to engines who worked on the Wisbech and Upwell Tramway.
