The Old Town Hall Godmanchester, Grade 2 listed building, located on School Hill, Post Street Godmanchester. Houses the Godmanchester Town Council and the Old Age Pensioners Club. The stone plaque on the main chimney breast reads "1899". However the original building was built in 1844 and rebuilt in 1899 from Gault brick in the Jacobean style. Godmanchester Senior Citizens' Club (Formerly listed as The Old Town Hall) TL 2470 4/74 29.5.69. II GV 2. 1844 and 1899. Gault brick with stone dressings, in the Jacobean style. The older portion of one storey with shaped Dutch gables, with 3-light mullion and transom window. Later portion of 2 storeys. MJllion and transom lattice casements. 4 centred door.
