For my 200th model I have chosen the birthplace of Gustav Holst, English composer and teacher who was born in this unassuming 1832 terrace house in 1874. Of Swedish and Latvian extraction, he is most famous for his orchestral suite 'The Planets' and other works such as his music for wind and brass bands and the hymn tune 'In the Bleak Midwinter'. Holst lived here until 1882.
