This is a model of a real-life building located at 1557 Tremont Street in the South Fairmount neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Constructed in the early 19th Century, the stone building is a rather simple structure, with a single window bay on each floor on the north and south elevations, with a large porch on the east elevation that also contains the house's stairway. Originally in this configuration, the house was modified over the years, with the porch enclosed and the front facade stuccoed, leading to its present appearance. Among the oldest houses in South Fairmount, this building predates its neighbors by several decades, and is rather unique among the predominately more recent housing stock of the surrounding neighborhood. Feel free to use this model as you see fit, on the condition that you contact me first so I know where it is being used (I'd love to see it wherever it ends up), and give me a mention or credit wherever it is used or published. #Cincinnati #GreekRevival #StoneHouse #HistoricArchitecture
