The IBM System/360 was a family of mainframe computers designed between 1965 and 1978 to replace all of IBM’s then current computer systems. The initial 1965 models 30, 40, 50, 65 and 76 were designed to replace the IBM 1400 and 7000 series computes, followed over time with the more powerful models 67 (1966), 85 (1969), 91(1967), 95 (1968), and 195 (1971). IBM also developed a new family of peripheral equipment for the System/360, including peripherals used with earlier systems, multiple magnetic tape and disk storage devices, multiple visual display units, communication equipment, card readers and punches, printers and an optical character reader, among others. This model represents the last of the IBM System/360 series computers, the 1971 Model 195, together with its’ system control unit, the IBM 2250 Graphics Display, and the IBM 1052 printer / keyboard, both of which are available as separate downloads. Raised computer floor by Rodney R., which was modified for this project.
