Powered by four JT4A turbojet engines, the 707-320 was the first purely international model of the Boeing 707 jetliner. It first flew in 1958 and entered service in 1959. It was identical to the 707-227, but was stretched to carry more passengers. 69 of these turbojet airliners were built and none were converted to 707-320B standard officially, although the Israeli Air Force re-engined two of these aircraft. The 707-420 was a similar built airliner, but was powered by Rolls Royce RB.80 Conway turbofans. 37 of these aircraft were constructed for large European based carriers such as BOAC. #707 #707320 #707420 #Blank #Boeing #Intercontinental #Plane #Template
