The A280 series of combat blaster rifles by BlasTech industries serves as the standard issue infantry rifles for many planetary defense forces and private militias for nearly a century before seeing extensive use by the Rebel Alliance forces during the Galactic Civil War (2 BBY–4 ABY). Featured here is the A-280C blaster rifle, a model which featured a high rate of fire and was known for its excellent firepower and sturdy design, making it a standard issue for Rebel alliance soldiers during various engagements, in particular at the Battle of Hoth (3 ABY), as depicted in the opening scene of this model. The model itself is by Matthew Spindler which I downloaded from the internet and modified for this presentation. Details are accessed via scene tabs, including a detail description poster by artist unususlsuspex. The rebel soldier is a modified version by abdyla. Note that as with other Star Wars weapons, the A-280C rifle is based on the real-world WW2 German StG-44 assault rifle
