Calvary Cathedral International was founded in 1964 by Pastor's Bob and Joy Nichols. After a tornado destroyed the former church building on March 28th of 2000 the congregation of Calvary Cathedral was invited by Midtown Church of Christ to 1701 Oakhurst Scenic Drive where the two congregations shared this building. Midtown Church of Christ soon sold the property to Calvary Cathedral International and rebuilt further north on I-35. Calvary Cathedral has remodelled much of the building's interior and built the state-of-the-art Calvary Christian Academy on the property south of the main church building. Calvary Cathedral reaches people of all nationalities and ages with the message of how to triumph in God's best. It is a church that believes every person is valuable and precious to God.
