The Bartlett Building is home to C-Core, The Centre for Cold Ocean Research and Engineering. C-Core is a not-for-profit research and development corporation, with an emphasis on radar, vision systems, ice engineering and geotechnical engineering. C-Core works closely with MUN, in particular the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, located next door. C-CORE's in house facilities include an Acutronic 680-2 centrifuge machine.
