Built in the 1830's, by Archibald Smith. Currently owned by the City of Roswell, GA. An intact southern plantation. Original house, cookhouse, carriage house, well, and corn crib. Still on its original location (with its grounds well preserved), and currently part of the Roswell municipal complex. Many of the artifacts of the Smith estate are still on the property, including the original furnishings, clothing, and personal items belonging to the Smith family. Others are housed at the Atlanta History Center, and many documents are preserved in the second largest collection at the Georgia State Archives. Tours are available of the house and grounds.
