Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Weapon. Anakin Skywalker's was brought to the Jedi Academy for testing by the Jedi Council, many of whom (chiefly Jedi Master Mace Windu) voice their concern regarding Skywalker training to be a Jedi, fearing him to be too old to begin training. Qui-Gon took on Anakin as his apprentice, taking full responsability for his future, but Qui-Gon died in combat with Darth Sidius' then apprentice, Darth Maul. Obi-Wan carried on Qui-Gon's dying wish, and took up Skywalker as his Apprentice. Anakin had a very influential role in the Clone Wars, alongside his Master, and lifelong friend Obi-Wan Kenobi. Anakin is eventually seduced to the Dark Side near the conclusion of the Clone Wars by Chancellor Palpatine (Darth Sidius' guise), and parttakes in the destruction of the Jedi Temple, Order 66, and the eradication of the Jedi Knights. Anakin's son, Luke, turns him back to the Light Side during a battle abord the Death Star during the Battle of Endor, where Anakin kills Palpatine, thereby fulfilling the prophocy of the Chosen One. Anakin's life support suit is damaged in the process, and he dies shortly thereafter. He joins Masters Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi as one of the Force.
