A Pipe linch retaining pin is designed to fix around a pipe or tube and can be used to prevent a wheel or other part from sliding off its axle. Another example of an application is securing implements onto the three-point hitch of a tractor. A Linch pin may also be used in place of an R-clip in some applications.
