The ‘Jefferson Institute’ location for the film ‘Coma’ (1978) was the then Xerox Sales Centre in Waltham (Lexington, MA). The Building is a fine example of a how Brutalist Architecture can instil a ‘Sense of Drama!’ Xerox vacated the building some years ago, and the iconic ‘Zigurat Façade’ has been replaced with ‘Flat Railway Carriage’ patent glazing - I cannot really see what the modifications achieved?
For those interested, the location of the building is 45 25 19.0N 71 15 20.0W If you Manipulate Google Maps with 3D the modified Façade can be seen.
